For 23 years David Paul Pollan has served the elder and special needs community in Georgia. With humble beginnings as an Atlanta Legal Aid attorney, David has been involved with Medicaid and Estate planning from very early in his career. He finally left Legal Aid to serve a broader range of clients as founder of The Pollan Law Firm. Despite running his own firm, he still takes pride in his social worker’s heart.
Built on David’s expertise and superior understanding of Medicaid and Estate laws, the Pollan Law Firm provides the most current, up-to-date ideas, tactics and advice to its clients. We know from experience that when a client calls and says they “just need a Will” it is never that simple. Our consultations and services are designed to offer clients comprehensive recommendations that consider where they are in life and where they may be in the future. Our clients find our staff is familiar with the stress of caregiving, whether it be David, caregiver for his mother who suffers from brain injury, or Elizabeth, mother to her special needs son. We always strive to offer personal, responsive service to every client.
Our clients range from those getting a head start on their estate planning to those who are in crisis: whether from a sudden severe injury or the termination of Medicaid benefits. Our services include Medicaid planning and appeals, estate planning, Estate administration, drafting of Special Needs Trusts and advising Trustees, representation in Guardianship and Conservatorship matters, and with applications for Veterans’ non-service connected Pension and Aid and Attendance. Our fees are flexible and are determined by each client’s individual circumstances. Please call our office to schedule an initial consultation.
