The Oaks at Olde Towne

The units are pleasant, large rooms, good cooking and bathroom adequacy. Maintenance response is very good. The residents are neighborly, unintrusive folks who enjoy their older years. There are handicapped facilities, e.g. showers with room for a bathing chair, lots of cupboards in kitchen. The one problems I've had is with the no smoking issue. The management has consistently not dealt with this problem. For people with any affliction of the lungs or allergies to air contamination this is an intolerable cause for breathing difficulties and allergic reactions. It's a major issue for quite a few residents. A lot of seniors have one problem or another due to their age, wheelchair-bound, oxygen users, vision-impaired, are all housed with good help available, including access to nursing, and transportation to various mall sites where needed items can be found. Meals on Wheels service and other providers for the elders are also available. The office is helpful in these matters.
