I highly recommend Synergy Home Care. My 95-year-old mother was having a health crisis that put her into the hospital. There were serious questions as to whether we could bring her back to her home when discharged. The hospital was pushing her towards nursing home care even though we knew, in her current mental and physical state, a nursing home could be the end of her. While we had long term live in home care people for many years, we needed people who could come into the home at night to give some relief to the live in caregivers until my mother’s condition stabilized. J. Heinlein, at Synergy, and his staff were incredibly responsive and offered exactly the care alternative we needed. Everything about their approach was professional, clear, compassionate and realistic. They made excellent suggestions during the pre-discharge home visit and interacted very well with the hospital staff. The home care givers they sent were excellent and did their jobs professionally, working very well with the live in care givers. Having worked with other care agencies in the past, I can tell you that they are not all equal. Some are disorganized and simply throw people without proper experience, skills and attitude into a situation. Often their billing is also chaotic and there are hidden costs. In this case, Synergy was exactly the opposite, making my life and the life of my family and our live in care givers easier at a time we really needed it.
