Why SYNERGY HomeCare?
According to a Gallup-Healthways study, more than 1 in 6 Americans working full-time or part-time report assisting with the care of an elderly or disabled family member, relative, or friend. Caregivers indicated that this assistance significantly affected their work life. Adult children do not want their parents having to leave their home due to age-related illness or impairments. Many family caregivers spend more than 25 hours a week - in addition to their outside job - caring for elderly parents and family members.
With someone else to take care of daily caregiving needs, family members can return to simply enjoying their relationship with an aging parent. Instead of feeling overburdened and guilty, time together can be spent creating new and recalling old memories.
SYNERGY HomeCare knows what you know: family comes first.
SYNERGY HomeCare understands that the first step in determining what type of care is most appropriate is to meet with a client and their family for a complimentary in-home assessment and visit. During this visit, we want to learn more about how a client’s day-to-day activities are impacted by the symptoms they are experiencing so that together we can develop a customized plan of care for our care team to follow.
SYNERGY HomeCare's compassionate, skilled and screened caregivers provide relief for everyone in the family. Those who cannot be on the scene can take comfort in knowing an experienced, responsible professional is on hand to cope with whatever issues may arise.
Our care team members can assist with:
• Social enrichment activities
• Nutritious meal planning, preparation, and cleanup
• Medication reminders
• Standby assistance with morning and evening routines
• Light housekeeping
• Arranging appointments and running errands
• Light exercise
• Assistance with ambulation and mobility
• Help with bathing, dressing, and grooming
At SYNERGY HomeCare, we know how hard it is to entrust someone else with the health, safety and happiness of your loved one. You may wonder, "Can I trust this person in my home? Will my mom feel comfortable with her caregiver? Do they know how to care for someone with Alzheimer’s?”
You want an experienced, responsible caregiver. We understand that a true companion must share similar interests with your family member and understand their emotional and physical needs. We provide caregiver recommendations based on the customized care plan we develop with you, as well as the individual skills and strengths of our caregivers.
You and your family are encouraged to stay involved in the planning of your parent's care; your family will be included in all aspects of care planning. We will always notify you of any change in their condition and at any time, you can reach your local office to discuss the plan of care.
To protect you and your family, SYNERGY HomeCare takes on the responsibility of employing and managing your caregiver. Each SYNERGY HomeCare caregiver is:
• A W-2 employee
• Bonded & insured
• Experienced & Dependable
• Screened through a national criminal background check
• Ongoing specialized training
• Quality assurance and performance evaluations
