Sun Towers

I moved my parents into Sun Towers Independent Living 10 years ago. They did so well here that I moved in last year when my vision made it unsafe for me live alone. Sun Towers offers transportation to doctors, dentists and will take you shopping weekly with their bus. They also have weekly trips to different restaurants in the area. The employees are very kind and willing to help you if you have a question. Overall I would say while this isn't my home, it is certainly an excellent alternative.

My mother lived as an independent at Sun Towers retirement home for seven and a half years. The last three months as full assistance. She loved her apartment and the staff and I believe they loved her too. She made friends and participated in many activities as well as being a volunteer at the country store and the library. Her last months were in a declining phase and the staff really stepped up to make her as comfortable as possible. I would recommend this facility to everyone looking to move where they could be taken care of yet be independent. My mom would have said the same. When looking for a home for mom after dad passed I did my homework and visited every facility in the Sun City Center area and none could compare. If your looking for a place that cares, that maintains their facility, and has a competent staff from the kitchen staff through the nurses, that will carry them from independent to the end of their days then look no further.
