I'd give Stone Crossing 0 stars if I could. This place is horrible. My grandma regressed while there, plus died suddenly early April of 2016 and another family member suddenly died later that month after only being there for two days. Both lost their pulses and heart stopped. Grandma had 3 UTIs while in there for 6 months. She was supposed to be there for physical rehab but ended up being stuck in a wheelchair chair all day. Our family was in the process of looking into other options but then Grandma suddenly passes.

Well my mother has been living at Stone Crossing Care Center for three years now. My older sister got her situated here in the assisted living area. The first year here I would give them a satisfactory ratng. Then a new administrator arrived and cut off the activities person, and no more outside folks coming in to entertain the residents. I have to tell the nurse that housekeeping needs to clean my mom's room. Aides call off all the time, pretty much a disgraceful place. My mom is 95 yrs old. Most of the nurses do a good job. Residents have left and my mom is the only one left in her wing (section). The food is third rate and is pretty much slop and is not even hot. The bottom line is if you love your parent please avoid this nursing home..
