We are right in the middle of a complete nightmare with my 90-year old Mom and Dad. We had to move my Dad out of the house because he was essentially in shell-shock from repeated temper outbursts by my mother who is suffering from moderate dementia ( as well as a life-time of putting up with my Dad ). My mother was alone and we had to arrange for near 24-hour care for her in a big rush. Ida, and the rest of the crew from Seniors Helping Seniors in Carmel have been absolutely amazing. I was in tears after a week of moving my Dad and just dealing with the stress of the situation. They took over and while there were still wrenching ups and downs, they were there through it all, really doing so much beyond the call of duty. They are not a typical in-home care outfit. I don't know what we would have done without them.
