We are a Home Health Agency, NOT a Nurse Registry or 'Companion' Service which means all of our caregivers are employees, NOT independent contractors, and so all of our employees are covered by our Liability Insurance Policy and our Workers Compensation Policy. Many clients do not consider the importance of insurance when hiring a home care company and only after an unfortunate incident does the real value of having a properly insured home care provider become apparent. Also important to note is that we deduct Income Tax at source for our caregivers so that the client is then not liable to the IRS for income tax on wages paid to a caregiver.
