Senior Helpers of South Tacoma

Senior Helpers South Tacoma is here to provide your loved one with the care they need, when they need it, from 4 hours to 24 hours. Our proprietary Life Profile Assessment tool helps us to better understand the level and hours of care needed, but also is instrumental in providing measures to reduce a trip to the hospital for your loved one. Along with keeping your loved one safe and healthy, our goal is to increase the quality and joy of life. Our Quality-of-Life Planner helps us understand our clients' likes and dislikes, and encourages engagement between our client and caregiver.

Senior Helpers serves the greater Tacoma area, including Gig Harbor, Dupont and Spanaway. We are a local woman owned, family run location of a national brand, with over 300 locations in the US, CAN., and AUS. Our Care Giving Aides are all CNA/HCA certified, and trained on-site in our Center of Excellence, including Hoyer lift and personal care. At Senior Helpers, we enjoy what we do, the difference we are making, and serving our community. My sister and Care Manager, Tara, and I both took care of our grandmother and our own mother when she fell ill. It gave us a sense of purpose, and we decided we wanted to help others so they could receive care at their home.

Senior Helpers has partnered with world known Cognitive disease expert, Teepa Snow, to create Senior Gems® , a specialty Dementia skills training program. We provide materials to family members of Dementia clients to better understand the phases of Dementia. We also have a specialized Parkinson's program, with skills training for this as well.
