At Senior Helpers, we are here to help anyway we can -- no matter how big or how small the task.
Our owners, Sandy and Hector Muñoz, know personally what it's like for the people in need of care and the toll it takes on the families that have been providing that care. That’s why after successful executive careers in the Hospitality industry, the development of a Real Estate Investment & Development firm, and raising two children-- Sandy and Hector believed there was an opportunity to give back at a greater level to the Southern California communities that were so instrumental to their own upbringing. Sandy and Hector both knew there was a need and realized firsthand the necessity for loving and high-quality caregiving. Hence Senior Helpers of South Orange County was born. We are mission-based, in-home care service with a purpose. A company made up of Servant Leaders where the needs of the employees and clients come first to create the highest quality caregiving in South Orange County.
We are a 5-Star rated, 24/7 concierge home care service with the goal to be your one-stop trusted advisor as it pertains to all your older adult care needs. Senior Helpers of South Orange County is committed to providing a home care experience that earns their client's trust and ultimately provides the support and relief that everyone is seeking. Each of our caregiver candidates is personally interviewed by Sandy and Hector. Each caregiver goes through a thorough background check, and then once hired, caregivers are continuously trained in the senior in-home care industry by a certified trainer. We have a Licensed Vocational Nurse on staff and are available 24/7. And we introduce our caregivers to all new clients on day one in order to make the transition to home care an easier experience.
We have NO MINIMUMS as it pertains to hours or number of shifts per week.
We can also help with financial assistance (initiating an LONG TERM CARE INSURANCE claim, navigating VETERAN AID, or connecting with SCAN insurance, if applicable) in an effort to assist as many families as possible.
We specialize in companion care and personal care; and we also have a proprietary assessment process called Life Profile that allows us to determine the type of collaborative care our clients can benefit from. Our goal is to provide the right amount of care. Not too much or too little. This tool allows us to do just that.
We also specialize in Dementia and Alzheimer’s care through another proprietary program called Senior Gems®, a collaboration between Senior Helpers and renowned cognitive disease expert, Teepa Snow.
Quality of Life Planner is a tool we use to encourage engagement between our clients and caregivers. Engagement and interaction is extremely important. It gives our Seniors a purpose that at times could be missing. We also specialize in Parkinson’s disease care through another proprietary training program.
We are committed to our clients, no matter how big or small the need. Reach out today to see how we can assist you and your loved ones now.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Hector and Sandy Munoz, owners and operators of Senior Helpers in Irvine, California. I was in need of a part time, in-home eldercare service for my 92 year-old mother who had sever mobility restrictions. Hector, Sandy, and their entire workforce are professional, polite, respectful and responsive. Hector and Sandy came to our home and did an initial evaluation and assessment of our needs. They blended that with my personal expectations and restrictions and ultimately arrived at an affordable and responsible caregiver schedule which met our needs. Senior Helpers provided in-home caregiver service for my mother for seven months up until her passing. The quality of care she received at the end of her life was paramount to me and my family. Senior Helpers, Hector and Sandy specifically, were there for us. They were even available after hours and on weekends when no one else would answer their phone. They produced results when no one else could. They listen and they care. I highly recommend this company for any eldercare needs you may have.

Senior Helpers has been such a blessing to my mom and given us such peace of mind. On the initial visit, Hector and Sandy came to meet the family and assess my mom. They treated my mom with such respect and made her feel valued and listened to. Her caregiver is kind and thoughtful and gives my mom the right amount of push. The communication is excellent. I would highly recommend Hector and Sandy and their great team of caregivers!

Thank you Hector and Sandy for helping us understand my mother's illness and for finding the right caregivers for our family's needs. Dementia is a very tough illness that impacts the whole family, and Senior Helpers, specifically Hector and Sandy, were very supportive as well as patient with our particular family needs when it came to identifying the right caregivers. I have recommended them to other members of our family and I would not hesitate to recommend them again.

Senior Helpers has been a blessing for my grandmother’s health and well-being. The care she receives daily by the care-taker has made a difference in her recovery from health issues. The owners Sandy and Hector are hands on from the first meeting with the family to current updates and personal home visits. Don’t think twice about Senior Helpers if you are looking for the best care for your loved one!!

I can't say enough about Senior Helpers. They came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. I love the fact that they focus on improving the quality of life of the client, getting them back to doing the things they used to do, and involving them in the process. For example, taking them grocery shopping in addition to or instead of ordering groceries for delivery. It’s a huge morale booster for the client. My mom recovered quickly and is in better shape than she was prior to going to the hospital. Thank you Senior Helpers!
