I'm concerned about this company although I continue to use them for the time being because options are limited in this area. The initial visit was from a (nice) marketing person and in 2 months we never received a home assessment/visit from a licensed professional (RN, CNA, LPN, etc.) to assess my mother and her needs. Isn't that a state requirement? Since Dec 4, 2020 we've had two no shows. One Aid didn't want to take my mother on her daily walks because the Aid "doesnt like to walk". Then no call, no show the next day. This company/office advertises as specializing in memory care but sent an Aid who has had no training at the office nor experience other than taking care of her grandmother so I'm the one training her. Fortunately, I'm home working remotely most of the time, but that won't always be the case. This company advertises that they specialize in memory care (clients w Dementia, Alzheimer's) but sent someone who is clearly inexperienced. Btw walking, other cognitive activities is I don't know if its this area, COVID-19, or the community is still recovering from Hurricane Michael (2018) but I see similar reviews from 2 years ago. Unfortunately, poor/low quality of home health service seems common in Panama City, FL across the board. Very sad and disappointing, and I'm left feeling helpless. I have expressed my concerns to the company. I'm posting for public awareness and hoping it will spur improvements.

We have been using Senior Helpers for only a short time but thus far we have been very pleased. This is new for us and we are learning as we go but they have been very accommodating to our needs and very easy and nice to work with. We feel they have been an answer to prayer for our family and for our family member who is in need of their services. We appreciate their quick response to our needs and how quickly they were able to begin services. It is such a blessing!
