Senior Helpers of Lawrence is owned and operated by Rohan Parikh, a people leader with 20 years of corporate experience and a personal understanding of the challenges that come with caring for aging loved ones. After navigating the in-home care journey for his own parents, Rohan was inspired to bring compassionate, dependable care to families in Douglas, Wyandotte, and Leavenworth counties.
At Senior Helpers, we believe that great care starts with a great team. That’s why every caregiver receives full-day onboarding and hands-on skills training through our in-house Center of Excellence (COE), where they learn to work with durable medical equipment (DME) and practice delivering safe, quality care. Whether a client needs just one hour of support or around-the-clock 24/7 care, we tailor our services to meet their unique needs and provide peace of mind to their families.
Our care ranges from companion visits and daily living assistance to specialized support for Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Parkinson’s, and other chronic conditions, delivered in the comfort of home, or in assisted living and other residential settings. From keeping your loved one company to ensuring someone is there to help them to a doctor’s appointment when you can’t, our caregivers are there when it matters most.
We are proud to accept VA BENEFITS, LONG TERM CARE INSURANCE, PRIVATE PAY, and work with Insurance companies like HELPER BEES and JAAA (Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging). We are also signed up with Veterans Care Coordination which focuses on VA Home Care benefit hours for Spouses of Veterans in order to assist as many families as possible.
With over 65 million Americans juggling the demands of work, home, and caregiving, in-home senior care offers a safe, flexible, and affordable solution that allows loved ones to age gracefully at home and remain connected to their community.
We are proud members of the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce and deeply committed to the local communities we serve. Rooted in Midwest values—and guided by our motto, Work Hard and Be Nice to People—we’re honored to treat your family like our own and provide Senior Care, Only Better.
