Senior Helpers West Los Angeles was founded in 2005 and acquired by Ted Pappas in 2011. Ted was drawn to the mission of helping seniors in West LA live safely and independently in their own homes for as long as possible. The West Los Angeles team has grown to 4 team members and 55 caregivers who strive to provide reliable, compassionate and affordable home care services for older adults and their families.

Almost 4 years ago my parents were in terrible car accident and we're both injured. Dad had a fractured back and mom had a broken arm and had serious head trauma. After 2 months in hospital and rehab my mom was released and my dad 2 months later. Since my mom had an injury to her brain, we needed help immediately. One of my co-workers had used Senior Helpers and highly recommend them. The rehab center gave us a long list of home care agencies that they approve of and as I looked down the list of about 40 names, I saw Senior Helpers and called them. One of the best phone calls I have we've made. They met with us that evening and we ready to start the following day. It couldn't have been easier and things started and it immediately became apparent that Margaret, their caregiver, was well trained to care for mom. When dad was finally sent home he needed a male caregiver because he physically needed help and he weighs 200 lbs. Wayne was sent and he too was great. It's been about a year now and we can't thank your company enough. We highly recommend.

After dad fell and broke his leg, he went into a rehab center for 2 weeks before going home. We were very worried as my sister and I live out of state and cannot travel as often as we want to see our father. My mom passed several years ago so we needed help. Some friends referred us to Senior Helpers and they made it very easy to start care for dad. It worked out so well that even after dad was back on his feet, he kept his caregiver with reduced hours because they were so helpful. Thanks Senior Helpers!

It was a great experience and the 2 caregivers that helped mom were really great and brought our family much relief. Mom is better but we still use these ladies to help her with her daily activities.

We set my father up with home care and met with several in our area. We chose one primarily based on cost and we couldn't of been more disappointed. They had 4 different caregivers come in the first 2 weeks and then they didn't show up. The caregiver called us and said he didn't have enough gas to come and that was the final straw. We also had met with Senior Helpers initially but they were $2 an hour more expensive. But boy were they worth it. Wayne came the next day and has been with dad for 4 months without a glitch. Ted and Bill in the office are always helpful and available.
