Our History…
Savannah Square has over a 25 year history that has grown into a unique living experience. Our community opened in stages with independent cottages, apartment homes, health center services, and assisted living services. The community’s onsite Ambassador Services program was recently added to help individuals maintain their active lifestyles by providing in-home care for our independent living residents.
To meet the changing needs of our residents, we continue to grow - with beautifully completed common areas and continuous renovations. Today, our vibrant campus occupies an expansive 17 acres in Savannah just three miles from St. Joseph Candler Hospital and five miles from Memorial Hospital. With 65 cottages, 46 apartment homes, 43 assisted living residences and 40 skilled nursing accommodations, Savannah Square is the original gated full-service provider for senior adults in Chatham County.
