Royal Caregivers - Short Hills has been wonderful from first phone call. They did an evaluation on a Thursday and I had a wonderful caregiver that started the following Tuesday. My husband's caregiver is always prompt, always smiling and so caring with my husband. I can leave the house without a worry. I could not be happier.

My 97 year old grandmother recently had to have surgery on his back and needed 24 hour care, transitioning to a few days per week. The Royal Home Care's orientation team was professional and laid out all of the options, while listening to my grandmother's concerns. Her initial in-home aide was always by her side and made sure all she had to worry about was recovering. Transitioning to shorter-term care was easy, and every aide was professional and caring, not to mention patient. The office staff was also very courteous and understanding, and their communication with my grandmother and our entire family was great. I highly recommend this company and would be happy to answer any questions.

I was pleasantly surprised with the overall process in hiring Royal Home Care. I started off with them providing me a caseworker, Eli, who was excellent. He was very supportive and kept in constant contact with my mother to make sure her care was up to the standard that Royal Home care expects. We were then provided with our caregiver, Katie, who was an angel. She was on time, honest, and hard working. Plus, she always puts my mother’s safety first. I met with Katie numerous times and found her to be one of the most caring people I have ever met. Their flexibility was great and met to my families ever changing needs. Our first concern, after hearing many stories from friends, was to have the same person come every day, so that a relationship between my mother-in-law and the caregiver could be established and nurtured. Also, a person who was caring and warm. Well, on the first day, right on time, Renee rang our bell and introduced herself to the three of us. A warm, articulate woman who immediately took charge, obviously experienced and well in control. Over the past 6 weeks that Renee has been coming, she has never been late, nor has she left early. Both my wife and I work, so my mother-in-law and Renee are alone together for the 8 hours we are gone. My mother-in-law is in love with Renee and feels very secure and well taken care of, during a major life-changing time. My wife and I are at ease while we are at work, knowing that anything that might arise during the day will be handled professionally and with the utmost care.
