I have been a caregiver for 6 years and worked for many agencies but I have never worked for an agency that had the same amount of compassion for those it helps, as I do, until working for Right At Home of Wine Country. Right At Home wants to make life better for those it serves and not just make money. Right At Home takes the time to get to know its caregivers and clients so they can match the client and caregiver, making it a better environment for all. If I ever need home health care or know of anyone else that does, it will be Carol and Robert that I call.

I needed in-home post-op care for 48 hours following surgery. Meeting my caretaker before my surgery was important to me because that person would be picking me up from the hospital, staying in my home, and caring for me 24/7. I called several services listed online, and due to staffing considerations none were able to arrange for me to meet my caretaker prior to my surgery date. When I finally reached Melissa at Right at Home Of Santa Rosa, she explained that they pair their caretakers and clients based on the client’s needs and preferences, even down to their taste in cooking! They review their caretakers’ bios and work with you to select the right fit. My caseworker, Stacy, made an in-home visit to meet me and go over my caretaking needs and preferences. Then we scheduled a date to meet the caretakers she selected. Of the two people she picked, both were perfect. I left our meeting knowing that, whichever one of them was available on my surgery date, I would be in good hands with a familiar face when I left the recovery room. My caretaker, Vivian, was awesome. She was like a nurse and a sister all in one. She cared for me, cooked for me, talked with me, and kept everything organized, clean and on-schedule. I honestly couldn’t have done it without her. All in all I would rate my experience with Right at Home as being the perfect balance of professionalism and a feeling of family. The team works together seamlessly and everyone seems to really enjoy what they do. They truly care about their clients, and it shows. I highly recommend them

Right At Home of Santa Rosa was recommended to me when my sister became suddenly incapacitated. They came through on very short notice in a complicated and difficult situation. The caregivers were wonderful – professional, yet adaptable and flexible. My sister liked them a lot. Dealing with Carol and Robert was a delight, and they were conscientious, detail-oriented, professional, and responsive. I could not have asked for a better experience and I highly recommend their services.
