My grandmother really loved and appreciated living at Plaza Apartments. She only lived there a few years but found the apartments very clean throughout the entire property. She loved playing BINGO and enjoying all the dinners that the Property Manager arranged for them. The Holidays were special, too, as the manager made sure that all residents were remembered. The residents there are nice, but of course you do find some from time to time that are not as happy with there personal situation so make complaining a past time which causes undue upset from time to time. Overall, grandma was quite happy at Plaza. We appreciated the Maintenance fellow that was there at the time and have been by over the recent years to visit other residents and find that he is gone but another extremely helpful and friendly person is working there, now. Everyone seems to like the Manager and the Management company and they keep the place in excellent condition! I would recommend Plaza to anyone 62 years old (and older) because it is a friendly, safe, comfortable apartment complex for Seniors to reside and enjoy their "golden years."

The Plaza Apartments for Seniors is an apartment complex in an excellent area of downtown Statesville for Seniors aged 62 (*and those who meet eligibility requirements for disability.) It is a Section 8 HUD program property and rent is based on 30% of adjusted income. Pets are allowed-with restrictions. They are all 1 bedroom apartments with 7 of them being handicap accessible (and called "studio" or "efficiency" units.) Utility cost is included in the rent. ICATS transportation is available for shopping and medical appointments. There is a laundry facility (coin operated) available any time of day or night. The front door is maintained with a pass code system after hours. There is ample parking available. The apartments are extremely secure area. There are plenty of day to day activities and the local Senior Center and Council on Aging is only 3 blocks away.
