Pine Meadows Health Care

My mom is in Pine Meadows and it has been a horrible experience. She has bruises all over her arms from the staff being very rough with her. She is suppose to be there for rehabilitation as she was in the hospital for over 3 weeks and is no longer ambulatory. She calls for help to go to the bathroom and they make her wait for a long time to take her, then she has an accident. They put adult diapers on her because they rarely get to her in time. My mom is young, she is only 76 and very capable of knowing when she needs to use the bathroom. When they take her to the bathroom, they leave her sitting on the toilet for 15-20 minutes until they come back to help her get back in bed. She is not eating and no one seems to care. Worst of all, when I asked about the bruises on my mom, they lied and said she had no bruises. Thankfully, I have photos of the bruises, only when I told them that I had photos did they confess to her having them. Don't send your loved ones to this horrible facility. It is a very sad place where nobody walks. They are suppose to be a short term rehab, but no patient in the whole facility is ambulatory. They all sit around in wheelchairs in the hallways being ignored. The staff lies. My mom fell and the nurse noted in her chart that I was contacted, but they did not contact me. It's a terrible, terrible place!
