The Peninsula Center for Estate Planning and Elder Law assists clients of all ages with proactive planning to prepare clients and family members for life's transitions such as capacity to incapacity, independent living to assisted living or long-term care, and life to death in a comfortable and caring environment. We handle both simple estates and those that are subject to estate tax and are well-versed in all aspects of estate and gift tax planning. We draft documents necessary to accomplish client goals, to include wills, powers of attorney, medical directives, living wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, special needs trusts, life insurance trusts, asset protection trusts, charitable trusts and many more. In addition, we assist with the administration of estates and trusts and help family members through the loss of a loved one and the myriad of paperwork and questions that routinely arise in the process. We assist with both proactive and crisis Medicaid planning, proactive long-term care planning, and Veterans' benefits planning, and handle a variety of litigation issues such as the reformation of wills and trusts, beneficiary agreements, and guardian and conservator matters.
