Liz, I am a past client
Beware of Pacifica Senior Living Victoria Court! I put my Mom here and in less than two months she was gone. I saw her the Monday of the week she died & when I left I said to myself she's going to live till 100! That Wednesday she was fatigued & not eating. She was seen by their doctor, blood tests were requested, one of their aids asked my Mom if she needed to go to the hospital, AND NOT ONE OF THEIR FIVE STAFF WHO KNEW MY LEGALLY BLIND MOTHER WITH DEMENTIA WAS NOT WELL CALLED ME. My Mom died Thursday night. Had they had the courtesy to call me, I would have been there right away. Their excuse is that she said she was fine - well my Mom was not a complainer & she would have been very scared at the thought of going to the hospital without her daughter. Also, since my Mom had only lived there less than 2 months you think they'd call since they weren't that familiar with her habits. Their staff lied to the RI DOH when I requested an investigation - the woman at the front desk who claimed she sang with my Mom & loved my Mom told the DOH that she was not familiar with my Mom. Shame on these people!
