Oak Manor

I worked at Oak Manor for three years. During my time there I can vouch that resident care is the highest priority. All staff from the nurses, the kitchen (my area) and the housekeeping and everything in between are held to the highest standard of professionalism. Staff is generally compassionate and understanding. In the kitchen all food is prepared by skilled experienced cooks. The kitchen is very clean and just well-run to ensure resident safety and satisfaction. The only concern from my time at Oak Manor is that the nursing facilities are at times understaffed and nurses overworked, although that seems to be a problem at most nursing homes and not limited to Oak Manor. In closing I would say that anyone who is tasked with admitting a loved one into Oak Manor, be it the independent, assisted or nursing facilities, can rest assured that all residents are treated with care, professionalism and dignity.
