My mother had a rapid onset of dementia that took my family by surprise. Due to our work schedules, my siblings and I were not able to provide the 24/7 care that my mother needed to maintain a positive quality of life. We decided that an assisted living would be the best option for her. After touring several facilities in Montgomery County, we decided Nightingale would be the best fit. They jumped in right away to make sure my mother felt comfortable with her new living environment. I was most pleased with the activities that concentrated on brain activity, kindness of the staff, and safety features throughout the house.

My mom was recommended for hospice care at a large assisted living. She was very sick and I was afraid of losing her. Can't lose mom at 70. Upon a friend's recommendation, I moved her to nightingale house. The true care, the gentle love, the laughs and the welcome accorded to our family made nightingale house our home too. Mom passed away after 8 months. We never had that much fun with mom since she fell sick. Thank you nightingale house. Continue what you do. God bless you and reward you abundantly.

This facility may be comparable in price, but the service provided by the head doctor is unprofessional, condescending, and truly disheartening. He is in this business for the money. My elderly parent visited the hospital several times due to multiple falls and even unknown accidents. The facility is not set up for elders to roam and while they advertise a schedule, the only activities they do are feeding the patients on time and putting them to sleep. The doctor will overcharge you for supplies, and if unable to assist your loved one, will ask you to come into the facility for additional support. Avoid this facility and secure a loving home with testimonials to help you select a secure home for your loved ones.
