Mt. Vernon Gardens

I've been to Mt. Vernon Gardens as a visitor more than 30 times over the past couple of years. (They never know until I'm a half hour away when I'm coming.) Every time has been impressive. My friend is physically weak but mentally on the ball and she is totally satisfied there. They have a wonderful house cat, Charlie, who is very sensitive as to who wants visiting and who doesn't. There are lots of plants and beautiful garden views from the dining room table and from the bedrooms. There's a piano (but presently no pianists in residence). The caretakers are very attentive to elders and it shows. They also have a big high quality TV but it's not on all the time. I hope it's still there when someday I may need it!
