Morningside of Sterling

Having experienced memory care with my own grandmother in another location, I am amazed at the involvement of all staff, including culinary, housekeeping and assistants. I wish that a place like Morningside existed when my own grandmother needed it. She would have thrived here! Staff goes above and beyond to ensure the dignity, happiness and comfort of the residents in the Bridge to Rediscovery Neighborhood. Activities are based upon the Montessori Method and residents are always encouraged to participate in the things that bring them joy and a sense of involvement. This fosters self esteem, contentment and friendships. Full disclosure, I am employed by Morningside, but, I am incredibly fortunate to be a part of the team here. Every day I am so proud of the staff and their relationships with residents. Our Executive Director, Danielle Vance, along with our Resident Services Director, Barbara Decker, work so hard not only to foster those relationships, but to encourage a family atmosphere here. This is their home, and it is also a place for them to be safe and well cared for. Thank you so much to everyone who calls Morningside their home away from home. Thank you, too, to the families of our residents who have become our own family, too! PS- the food is so good, I eat here EVERY day!
