More to Life is the first Adult Day Health Center to open in Sparks, specifically designed to care for dependant adults during the day.
More to Life is a medical model and a social model adult day center, meaning that it accommodates clients with minimal needs, but also those with more severe needs. Services include: a nutritious diet, shower facility, licensed nurses, wellness monitoring, exercise program, caregiver support, incontinence management, medication management and a secure facility. More to Life provides a safe and friendly group care program for dependent adults during the day. The program is designed to maintain the participants’ highest level of independence and self confidence, and to meet the needs of frail or impaired adults over 18-years-old, including those with MS, diabetes, traumatic brain injuries, Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The program provides an economical alternative that enables families to remain together longer while extending independence and offering “more to life” for the recipient and for the caregiver.
More to Life has full and half-day affordable rates that are below the national average. Normal operating hours are Monday-Friday, 7-5:30 p.m. There are also extended hours Friday evenings 6-10 p.m., and Saturdays 9-4 p.m.
