When you contact Luxe Homecare, our nursing staff will perform a free assessment of your loved one’s condition. We will speak with their physician, social worker, hospital and nursing home staff. We will also set up a meeting with you and your loved one to find out what types of services are needed. This will also give us a better idea of the personalities we have to match and the level of care that is needed.
Together we will develop an individualized care plan to manage your loved one’s daily living activities. Once this is completed, we will find the caregiver that can best provide the services they require. You are integrally involved in this process, which includes meeting the caregiver before they begin working with your family member.

When you hire someone to care for your elderly family member, whether they have a long-term illness, are disabled or are recuperating from a hospitalization or surgical procedure, it is important to know that the caregivers are not only capable, insured and bonded, but compassionate and kind. Our caregivers are all vetted. We conduct background checks, i.e., the residence trace search, criminal database including sex offenders, county criminal searches for all counties of residence, federal criminal and DMV records. In addition, we provide all our employees with Workers’ Compensation coverage. No one enters your loved one’s home without going through this process.
We’re Your Eyes and Ears When You Can’t Be There
Our involvement in the care of your family member does not end with the placement of a caregiver. We have developed a care and assessment process to monitor the caregiver’s attendance and quality of care. This includes scheduled telephone check-ins, home visits by our staff, and constant communication between our caregiver, you and your loved one. No stone is left unturned, giving you the peace of mind that they are being provided excellent care, by individuals who are committed to what they do.

I found Luxe Homecare online through a simple google search. My pops is terminally ill and we needed more help than what me or my family could do. I owe Fay (owner) and Erika (nurse and caregiver) a very special and heartfelt thank you! From the beginning, Fay felt like a team member on board with the family. Whenever we need anything, whether it is errands, Dr. appointments, and especially transportation, we know Erika (his nurse) is on it! And Fay oversees everything so nothing slides between the cracks. He now has a better way of living setup for him now with all the love he gets from his caregiver. He gets around so easily with the wheelchair transportation they provide. It is so much easier to have a one stop shop than call around and arrange every little detail.

Simply put, Luxe has been a lifesaver. We needed part time care for my mom about 4 years ago, and I saw the great reviews of Luxe on Yelp. Was a plus that the office was very close by. Faye came to the house, was very professional and helped my mother feel more comfortable with the arrangement during her initial assessment. We had part-time care for a few years, and then mom's condition required full time help. Originally, we added a second agency for overnight coverage as it was cheaper. Well, you get what you pay for. The second agency owner was argumentative, and dishonest on a number of occasions. Ultimately, made the decision to discontinue with this second agency over concerns about the agency's adherence to labor laws (be SURE to review this... I found out that despite using an agency, the family is co-liable as a co-employer). Anyway, we went full-time with Luxe last Fall and I have not regretted the decision. In addition to Faye, Stephanie and Ben are amazing. They proactively reach out to me with any staff changes or billing issues, and are exceptionally pleasant. The main kudos go to the caregivers. We've had one primary caregiver for three years and she treats my mom like family. I trust her entirely. The other caregivers have been great. Trained, pleasant, conscientious, and treat my mom with loving care. Yes, the cost is more, but the peace of mind is worth it.

My mother became very ill and had to be hospitalized and then had to stay in a Rehabilitation Center for almost a month. This brought up the issue of my mother needing additional care and forced the family to explore options. It was evident that she was frail, needed physical therapy and other support services.. This was all very new to her and to our family. When the time came my mom decided she wanted to try home care because she missed being at home so much. What was not so easy was getting the right agency that could provide the match of caregiver(s) that could could help her with the struggles she faced. It took a while to sort that out. And surprisingly, it was my Mom came up with the answer. She remembered that she had met Fay, the owner of Luxe Homecare professionally a few years ago and liked her very much. (My mother, like Fay, was active in the community.) She also remembered that Fay owned a Homecare agency right in the Palisades area. So we encouraged her to contact Fay. Fay came to visit my Mom and listened to what she wanted and needed. We ended up hiring them and they sent caregivers that were caring and compassionate.
