Luther Acres

While there are individual staff members that care about residents it is not the culture at LA. Our loved one was overmedicated within two months of moving into Memory Care. During recovery she was made to share a room meant for one person. Shortly after that she was sent to the emergency room only to be bounced back to LA for a UTI the LA staff had not diagnosed. While loved one received special care at another facility we were made to pay Luther Acres thousands of dollars to hold bed space however they had no intentions of allowing loved one to return. Luther Acres Management never disclosed this to the family all the while taking our payments. Phone calls to Luther Acres about missing hearing aids, personal items etc. were never returned. Resident care and concerns for families are the last priority here.
