Lindenwood Cemetery

2324 West Main Street Fort Wayne, IN 46808

Since 1860, Lindenwood Cemetery has served Allen County families by providing a beautiful final resting place for community residents. We are a proud member of the Dignity Memorial® national network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. Lindenwood shares a close affiliation with nine other Dignity Memorial providers in the Fort Wayne area. We are committed to exceeding expectations and delivering a standard of service that is 100% guaranteed.

Our beautiful and historic cemetery offers virtually all types of memorials, including private walk-in mausoleums, community interior and exterior mausoleums, private family estates, cremation niches and benches, plus multiple monument and flush marker sections.

Lindenwood was the honored recipient of the 2004 Dignity Memorial Commitment to Excellence Award, recognizing our exemplary service, outstanding teamwork and professionalism, incomparable quality and commitment to the community.

Dignity Memorial providers offer exclusive benefits, including National Transferability of Prearranged Services, the Bereavement Travel Program, the 24-Hour Compassion Helpline® and access to an acclaimed grief management library. As North America's premier provider of funeral, cremation and cemetery services, the Dignity Memorial brand is your assurance of quality, value, caring service and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Because we take our role in the community seriously, we host regular tours for local school groups. Ages range from kindergarten to college level. Tour types vary from a two-hour emphasis on Fort Wayne History (featuring our Pioneers Resting in Historic Lindenwood and The Lindenwood Story books that are given to schools at no charge) to a multi-day event that encompasses multiple classes including history, math, science and art.

Lindenwood sponsors a wide variety of community events each year. Many of those events are held at our cemetery, including ARCH activities, community fundraisers, Civil War Re-enactments, POW Motorcycle Ride, Open House Christmas Memorial, Galloping Gobbler 4-Mile Run, Leaf Identification program, Northeast Indiana AIDS Memorial events and many others.
