Lakewood Park Manor

I recently attended an event at Lakewood Park senior living. The atmosphere was very fun and laid back. I could tell the elderly were enjoying themselves. This made my heart happy. The staff also was very kind I would recommend Lakewood Park Manor to all my family members.

My brother and I were looking for a place for our parents so we visited this Lakewood Park community. It is a pleasant, caring community and we think it will be perfect for them. Thanks to the manager for the tour, her consideration and thoughtfulness regarding our family and what is best for them. Soon, this will be our parent’s home and it will be a wonderful place for them to have quality of life in their later years.

I have had a chance to tour the facility. The staff is friendly, the facility spotless and I was impressed with the smiles I saw on everyone's faces, especially the residents! After speaking with some of the residents, it's obvious that this is the place for my mother.

Excellent staff in independent and assisted living. Clean, friendly, professional. All residents are well cared for and treated with dignity and empathy. My family member that is there is healthy and happy. Highly recommend for your own family members!

Genuinely sincere, patient, and polite staff. The facility is clean and well managed. It's amazing how kind and attentive were the nursing and nursing assistant staff. If there was a facility issue, the maintenance supervisor handled it quickly. Hard to believe they can consistently offer such good quality tasty meals. My Mother was very happy at Lakewood Park Manor and instantly felt at home. I would hand out personal gratitude to many but I fear I would inadvertently omit some who deserve mention. This assisted living community is beautiful and so is the the team! From the moment I walked in and was greeted warmly by the concierge and one of the managers, they made me feel so comfortable. They took time and answered all my questions.

From the moment I walked in the door, the receptionist with smile welcomed me. I met with the Executive Direct or who gave me a tour of the beautiful community. The staff was very friendly towards me and appeared to enjoy their work. The rooms were very spacious with private decks. I was impressed with the cleanliness and airiness of the general area. Definitely a retirement home community that I want to be a part of.

This community is beautiful. I love the surroundings. I was pleased with the caregivers that I spoke too. All were very kind, welcoming, and positive. Lakewood Manor is easily accessibly and just down the street from lots of restaurants and shopping.

I've been in this residence in Downey many times, and have also visited a number of other local senior living communities-and there is none that feels more like home to its residents than Lakewood Park Manor in Downey.

We looked at many assisted living facilities for our mother and we are so glad we found and decided on Lakewood Park Manor. Mom loves it here. The staff truly cares about the residents and makes sure they are happy and well taken care of. That was our #1 priority and they have exceeded our expectations. The activities, food, cleaning, and laundry services are all outstanding.

I pleased my mother at Lakewood Park Manor. After being in the hospital and rehab, she was no longer able to live on her own. The assisted living facility was clean, new and nicely furnished. The staff and caregivers were professional, kind and welcoming. They did everything possible to accommodate my mother’s arrival in just a few days. They were always cheerful and went out of their way to welcome my mother. The nurses were responsive to her needs and medications and always communicated with me. The food was great and my mother enjoyed the other residents. It is a warm, friendly community that I highly recommend.

They've been treating my father so well and I cannot believe that we were so lucky to find them and give him such a great quality of community around him at this time in his life. He's been through a lot and this really means a lot to him to have friends close by and so many people to support him every single day.

Living out here in the Los Angeles area you always want to make sure that you have the best quality of life. When we found Lakewood Park Manor Senior Living for my mother we knew that we were going to be able to keep that going for her even in her retirement years. She is in good health still so we definitely wanted a place that was lively and had care for someone like her who is still very mobile and active. This staff and apartment facility offered that and plenty more.

Lakewood Park Manor has a really skilled nursing staff. I was very impressed with the tour and all of the actual amenities that they provide for senior citizens like me. Definitely excited to move in next month and my family is right there with me.

I will be moving to Lakewood Park Manor in just a matter of days and I absolutely cannot wait. Ever since my husband passed away I have been a burden on my daughter and I'm just so ready to start my own life independently at this amazing apartment complex. Since my father has been here he has been very relaxed and always occupied. He is not wasting away as we would have feared in some other places. Lakewood Park Manor is the only assisted living facility in the area that was open about letting us see inside the resident areas. What we saw were clean and happy residents who were busy with all kinds of activities. Not depressing at all like others that we visited. My mother is happy to be living here, where she has made lots of friends. Lakewood Park Manor is a positive social experience, not just an assisted living facility.

When we came to Lakewood Park Manor to see my mother yesterday, she looked very happy and alert. It was obvious that Lakewood Park Manor was the right choice. Before, she spent all of her time alone in her home watching TV and hardly getting out. Now she plays cards, watches movies with others and is being fed a good nutritional diet. She looks better than she has in a long time. Lakewood Park Manor was the best choice.

Unlike other assisted living facilities we visited that were either depressing or kept everything from view, this place is cheerful and upbeat. There is a great deal of social activity, which is very important. He has something to look forward to everyday. Unlike before when our visits were all he had, everyday at Lakewood Park Manor is a good day.
