Laguna Cottage #2

My father died in this facility. We believe that he would be alive had he had the appropriate care at Laguna Cottage. My husband is a physician and I have 25 years in the medical field. Very sloppy care here... When Dad complained of left hand and arm pain in the A.M., NO ONE ALERTED US. Dad had angina medicine and he was not even given his medicine for his heart!! He passed away that night. After the owner called to tell me my father had died, she left for work, before we even got there. She never even called again. Heartless... Female caretaker was always at the sink on her cell phone, when we came in unannounced. House was extremely HOT. Caretaker said the owner (Rashida, a nurse) would not let the workers turn the air conditioner on. We would never recommend this place for your family. AWFUL...
