Mark Dees, owner of Amada Senior Care of Daytona Beach, understands from personal experience how crucial it is for families to know what resources are available when a senior loved one needs in-home care, especially when a life-changing health crisis happens. “My father earned a comfortable living during his life—he owned his home, he had life insurance, he was a veteran, too!—but after a major stroke left him paralyzed on the left side of his body, he had to move into a skilled nursing facility to receive the care he needed,” Mark said. “Neither he nor my siblings and I—all of us with families of our own to provide for during that time—had any idea about the funding options that could have allowed my father to continue living in his own home and still be able to afford the cost of around-the-clock care.” We have made it our mission at Amada Senior Care of Daytona Beach to ensure that seniors and their families get the information they need to allow their loved ones to “age in place” in their own homes for as long as possible, with all of the loving care and assistance they need and deserve. Our expert team of senior care advisors are here to help guide seniors and their families by explaining the many options available to help pay for in-home care, like long-term care insurance, life insurance, veterans’ benefits, home equity, and even some Medicare Advantage plans. If you or a beloved senior in your life have questions about care provided by the trained and compassionate caregivers at Amada Senior Care of Daytona Beach, please contact us today for a complimentary, in-home consultation. You deserve to know all your senior care options. Let our family help you take care of yours.
