While my 86 year old mother has not required the kind of medical assistance that Honor is best known for, she counts on Honor's assistance in maintaining a healthy home environment. Mom is housebound due to COPD and has emphysema difficulties. She especially enjoys her care visits as opportunities to share her stories and the news of the day. We have two care professionals visiting three times a week. Melissa takes great care for her needs two of those days, and Briana spends a good deal of her time with small household items and enjoyable conversations. Both caregivers perform the irreplaceable service of driving her to and from medical appointments and performing short shopping trips for her weekly needs. My mother has often expressed her enjoyment and gratitude for Honor's personal attention to her individual needs and care. She has told me that she wouldn't know what to do without their visits. I recommend Honor Home Care to everyone who needs care and attention either for themselves or their loved ones.

We have utilized a number of home health care agencies over the past four years, but Honor of San Francisco has been the best so far.

At Honor of San Francisco, the key word is love. If a caregiver truly loves their job, they will cheerfully take care of you. That is what my husband and I have now. He is a retired dentist, and an intelligent man who is trapped in a body that is failing him. I am legally blind, we have idiosyncrasies and special needs. The caregivers cheerfully take care of us. Notice the other quality they have in common is a sense of humor. So if you have a caregiver that is a disappointment, give the agency a chance to find someone who fits your personality and needs. The perfect crew is worth the effort, and I'm happy we've found that crew at Honor of San Francisco.

Our Care Pro with Honor is very helpful. I wish the price was a little lower but the service is great. If you need home care for a family member my husband and I recommend Honor!

I hired Honor because I had recurring strokes and needed a caregiver who could identify my early symptoms and get me to hospital right away. The first hour is critical and having a caregiver there was life-changing. My favorite caregiver helped me get on track with my diet and made sure I followed doctor's orders with medication reminders, keeping up with appointments, and going to therapy with me.

I was caring for my husband then I got sick and needed help. When I was in the hospital recovering from cancer surgery, someone reached out to me about finding help at home. I tried another agency and didn't like them. During my group therapy for depression, someone mentioned Honor in the group. I tried it and it is perfect. Our caregiver Marta is amazing because she knows when to back off and when to push.

The caregivers at Honor are very experienced and knowledgeable. A few are exceptional, with an obvious passion for what they do. There were some scheduling issues, but they have since been confirmed. They are among the best.

I couldn’t recommend a better home care health service than Honor. They were a part of my total care plan upon discharge from the hospital. They helped me transition from inpatient care to independent living. Every visit and every caregiver were the best! The individual care and sensitivity to needs in any situation were just a few of their strong suits.

My mother enjoyed the companionship of the caregiver from Honor. We appreciated the time away for the short time to take care of personal business.

A sales rep from Honor came to the hospital to meet my mother and I, there was no pressure to join the agency. After receiving information, I joined Honor and have been happy with the services. They took good care of my mom, and they have been very professional.

We had set up an account with Honor but never used them because my wife went into the hospital and then to skilled nursing. We later tried a different company through Kaiser but they had trouble filling our requested hours. They also cost more and didn't take credit cards. We started using Honor two days ago. They were able to accommodate our requested hours on short notice. We love their smartphone app , their rate schedule and the fact they take credit cards. The two caregivers we have had so far were excellent. They both found things to help with and didn't need much prompting from me.

Honor has made every step in the process simple, and everyone we dealt with -- from those on the phone, to the one making the in-home assessment, to the caregivers -- have been delightful to work with. It’s amazing to see how caring they are, and how they have made it their collective purpose to best care for their clients. It’s amazing to think after several months of putting off a decision to get in-home care for my mom, we're now wondering, "Why didn't we do this earlier?" We cannot be more delighted and grateful for their care and attention, and we would recommend Honor to anyone facing the same decision we were.

I live in Hawaii and I needed to get care for my elderly Father in So SF. I called all the agencies that service his area....Honor was the first to call me back they had an intake nurse come the next day and we had our first CarePro the very next day....I was so impressed on how fast, it all came together. I love the daily update on each visit and most of all I have peace of mind that my Dad is getting great care....I highly recommend Honors for your home health care needs.

When I needed help and support to find just the right caregiver for my 98 year old mother, Honor handled our case with such patience and respect that I would recommend them to anyone. Most important, my mother absolutely did not want any such caregivers in her home and believed she was fully capable of taking care of herself. However, in a very short time, her caregivers -- simply by being kind, patient and consistent, won her over and now my mother is happier than ever to have their company and assistance each and every day. They are there because I can't be, and I depend on them and trust them completely. Honor Home care is the best.

I had to find 24hr care for my elderly neighbor after she was released from the hospital. I called many care services and most were very expensive and pushy. When I called Honor as a last resort, I immediately felt a weight lifted off my shoulders! They were kind, helpful and could get someone there by the next morning! The Care Pros at Honor were fantastic. I explained what was required, and also that my neighbor needed her space. They understood and stayed in the background until my neighbor needed them. Once my neighbor was able to be on her own again it was hard to say goodbye to them! Now I call Honor just to have someone come in to give her a shower and they've been great! By the way, the office is very professional, kind and on the ball and that's just as important as excellent care! I will refer anyone to Honor forever and if and when I may require in home care, they're my first phone call!!!

I was referred to Honor by a hospital. My mom was recovering from a brain injury and I contacted them for same day help. Honor's caregivers were really good about helping her shower and attending to her needs, preparing her meals and helping her eat, medication reminders and showers. Companionship was a big factor because they really helped her feel less isolated. My mom had to eventually move into assisted living but it was great keeping her home for as long as possible. We all miss the caregivers so much.

It's has been five months that my mom passed away. Our Care Pro, Sandy from Honor, was a very nice and patient lady. She was very helpful and my mom was not an easy person to deal with. She had dementia and was rude with Sandy. Sometimes I felt very bad for her. She was hired back in March until mom passed in April. The company was so generous that they even sent flowers to my family on the day of her funeral. The family was very thankful for their generosity and their sympathy wishes. I can also tell you that I was impressed by their accounting department. They were always so fair when it came to charging our account if the entire eight hours were not completed by Sandy for the nights she would have to leave early or come in late. If someone would asked me for referral I would definitely refer Honor as a good company to hire. It made our life a lot easier to deal with when your parent does not even allow you to sleep at night after an all day vigil with them. Mom would never sleep at night, only during the day she would take a nap every few hours. It really hard for me to talk even write about this because I miss my mom a lot still. I hope this information helps.

After 6 years of hiring lousy agencies that basically hire people whose only qualification is that they "have a pulse", I can't tell you how pleased I am with Honor. They are absolutely the best in-home care agency around! Don't even go to anyone else. These people are honest, professional and will only send the highest quality care-givers to you. My mom is 96 years old and lives with me, but we need to go out of town occasionally or to an all-day event. I went to Oregon and Washington DC this summer and never was worried or stressed out because the caregivers Honor sends are the most competent people around. One of their caregivers will be coming this Tuesday evening because I need to go to the East Bay for an extended evening and I know my mom will be in good hands.

Dad unexpectedly needed care, and i needed someone caring and responsible in just a few hours. I called and emailed lots of services. Honor turned around my request quickly, did a great day of assessment, and sent us a fantastic person to care for my dad. I strongly recommend them.

All of the caregivers that have been with my Mom from Honor are great! I appreciate how kind and helpful they have been through her agitation and defiance. I know this is new to her and will take some time for her to get used to but we are glad we have their care professionals there to keep her safe.

I appreciate Honor's assistance and once again want to thank Honor for always being in close contact with anything that comes up! It's a challenge trying to make sure my dad is OK while living so far away, and it's quickly becoming indispensable having Honor as a part of his support system. Thanks!

I just wanted to let you know how very much I and my whole family appreciates the great job that those wonderful caregivers did in taking care of my mom. Every one of those women from Honor was skilled, kind and thorough and my mom loved all of them and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them, as well. Honor made it so that my husband, myself and our daughter had a long-awaited, completely worry-free vacation, and we hadn't had any type of vacation in years!

Honor is simply fantastic. I've been using them for several months now to provide care for my parents, who are both disabled and cannot drive. It's super easy to schedule visits through the app and to share important information that the caregivers will need to provide care. The care pros they've sent over have all been wonderful -- reliable, pleasant and hard-working. I couldn't be happier, and it provides me unbelievable peace of mind that my parents are well taken care of by a team of caring professionals.

I'm an RN, home care nurse with 20 years of home care experience, who had to find home care for someone who is very "out of the box" from all the way across the country. Every single person I talked to at Honor understood the situation and was totally competent to handle their aspect of it. The website is great, the phone people are great, the billing was flawless, the care provider was great, the case management was great. Not one complaint. I was in the loop but not overwhelmed. Great quality, fair prices, great support, smart, nice, down to earth people.

There is something really special going on at Honor. Mom is struggling with a really tough degenerative illness but has not been willing to let anyone help. She had one not-great experience with a traditional home care company (the aide wore a uniform and gave impersonal care) and was not in the mood to try again. We did some family research and called Honor. After her second visit from Silvia, mom told us she felt more truly relaxed than she had in months--and now, so are we all. The calm, heartfelt, and expert care she's getting from Honor is absolutely the best.
