About HomeWell of Columbus - A Message from Our Owners: Raymond & Lisa Black
When we discovered that we could own a business that helped seniors age gracefully and with dignity, we knew this was exactly what we wanted to do! We are both passionate about helping seniors. Ray has been in the medical industry for the past 20 years, and Lisa has extensive administrative background. We are proud of the fact that we employ the best personal assistants (caregivers) in Central Ohio.
Each Personal Assistant for basic and specialty care has at least 1,000 hours of experience. We value our employees and work to let them know of that appreciation consistently. Our agency sets itself apart from others with our extensive, unique programs that are offered to the elderly of Central Ohio. Our care managers create individualized care plans for the clients and update them as needed.
Personal Assistant time sheets are created from the care plan, assuring the care is provided as directed in the care plan. Additionally, we provide quality assurance visits and call our clients routinely for input. We value our elders and seek to provide the best care available. We look forward to hearing from you.
Managing In-Home Care for Seniors - Providing Comprehensive Programs for All Your Needs
HomeWell’s Care Management program is a valuable resource that can be used to guide clients through the “healthcare maze.” Our goal is to help seniors be safe while maintaining the highest level of independence and quality of life possible.
Our care management services focus on the overall care of individuals and families needing assistance with the challenges associated with aging. Our Care Managers provide comprehensive risk assessment that thoroughly evaluates the individual, the environment, and any support systems currently in place.
The Power of Our Elderly Care Plans - HomeWell Care Managers help to identify the needs of each client—mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, legal, and financial—through a comprehensive assessment process. Their assessment drives a detailed care plan that will take into account short-term and long-term needs and resources. We recommend positive solutions and, if desired, coordinate and implement services that enable older adults to remain as safe, healthy, and independent as possible.
Care Managers also coordinate between families, doctors, healthcare providers, and other professionals, while providing the emotional and social support crucial to your health. When HomeWell is involved, you have peace of mind.
