For owners Erik and Amy McDonald, HomeWell is more than just a business; it’s a much-needed support system for local families. Before HomeWell, both witnessed firsthand the clear need for in-home care in their own lives when Erik’s mother battled brain cancer in 2019 and when Amy saw her mother serve as a caregiver to her grandmother when she was younger. Seeing how home care could have helped their loved ones, they felt inspired to launch their HomeWell agency in November 2023 and give back to their community.

Erik and Amy bring a wealth of professional skills and experience to their roles as a husband-and-wife team. Erik is passionate about working with people, which he has demonstrated through his extensive sales background. Amy, a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of healthcare experience, has served in various capacities across the industry, from hands-on nursing to Case Management, Director of Marketing and other administrative roles. Together, they have developed an expert care team and cultivated a business culture at HomeWell that prioritizes your family’s peace of mind through best-in-class home care.
