After double-majoring in sociology and nursing, Ari went straight to a master’s degree as a nurse midwife before joining a busy, fast-paced maternity department in New York City.

“I’m a very nurturing person,” Ari says. “I loved caring for every one of my patients. However, the hospital environment made it hard to keep that personal touch. That’s when I took a career change to do something myself, and went into the real estate business. Although I loved the business side of things, I missed the nurturing side of working with patients.”
