Homewatch CareGivers of The Woodlands is one of the most awarded home care agencies in North and Northwest Houston, celebrating our 14th year. We have two nurses on staff to handle every possible care need, and we also have some of the longest tenured employees in the industry, and we think of each of them as family! Our office has both a classroom and training room that we use on a daily basis to train and enhance our caregiver’s skills even more. All of these attributes are rare among care giving agencies, and we are feel this allows us to deliver the best care anywhere.

Specifically related to care, everything starts with a great client and caregiver match. We strive to put together people with the same hobbies and interests so that they can enjoy those things together. For example, we recently had a client who was knowledgeable in law and politics. We then paired him up with our caregiver who stayed informed with the news and the political system. They would often enjoy talking and going over new laws passed and debate on the different topics coming up in the news.

And a care plan can involve many things, and one of the many perks of care that a lot of our clients and their family enjoy is that when our caregivers take them to doctor’s appointments. Our caregiver can sit in on these appointments and take notes for the loved ones that are not there, and also receive the doctor’s instructions to assist the client with their needs. Also, with both of our nurses responsible for training each of our caregivers, we ensure that they are capable of delivering care that is specific to your loved one’s current and changing abilities. Our nurses are also responsible for all client matters, and are available around the clock 24 hours every day.
