The business owners of Homewatch Caregivers in Freeland go out of their way to help there clients in every way possible. The caregivers do a superb job of taking care of my medical and personal needs, however when it comes to doing household chores, which is half of their responsibilities, that is a mixed bag of tricks. Some are better than others.

About two years ago, my widowed mom, who was past 80 and in the early- to mid-stages of dementia, was living alone in her condo. My siblings and I and our grown children all live several hundred to several thousand miles away. We visited as often as possible, but Mom was on her own most of the time. We wanted her to move near one of us, but she was deeply rooted and didn't want to leave. We talked with Homewatch CareGivers of Freeland, and they sounded able and willing to do whatever Mom needed. For the next two years, starting with a few needs and gradually increasing, they became Mom's trusted helpers - and the boots on the ground for those of us who couldn't be there. Some of the services they gave Mom were medication management, transportation, housekeeping, cooking, shopping, companionship, and encouragement to keep drinking water.Homewatch Caregivers is devoted to their clients they added staff or moved shifts or altered approaches, so Mom would have consistent, quality care. They come highly recommended by me.

My mother suffered a stroke in June 2015 and then went to Stratford for rehabilitation. Upon leaving Stratford it was apparent that she could not be left without assistance. Homewatch CareGivers of Freeland took care of her and (my father) with grace and dignity. Whether conversing, cleaning or getting her up and around they were a blessing to have in our home. I have decided to try my luck with Homewatch Caregivers of Freeland. I've been impressed with David Klawuhn and the way he operates his company. However, as I said to him, "The proof is in the pudding". Will his caregivers deliver on his promises? Only time will tell. I sincerely hope so!

I reviewed Homewatch Caregiversof Freeland and was impressed with David and Kathy. I decided to cast my lot with them and so far, everything is going pretty well. All of the caregivers work well with me, however that is only half of the job. Most of the caregivers tend to Dottie when it comes to laundry and cleaning. Guess that's human nature, since it has happened with every Organization I have been with. At this point everything is a work in progress.
