There is no secret why I chose to lead Sudbury River Home Care….It was my calling.
I wasn’t a mean kid, but I did seem to get into a lot of trouble when I was in high school. Days before my senior year began, I was caught up in an incident involving several teens at a summer camp which led to me attending my senior year at an American School in Colombia, South America.
Under the supervision of my grandparents, along with great aunts and uncles, my punishment was to listen to their rich tales of the past, fraught with adventure and life-lessons. These stories are what called me to the Senior Home Care field, first as a caregiver and now as the Director of Sudbury River Home Care, to honor and be inspired by the lives of our seniors.
I have a BS in Economics from Boston College and an MBA in International Business from Bentley University. Before launching my own brand of bedding at Walmart, I spent 25 years as an executive in the food industry. I love to travel–holding the journey itself, the people I meet, and the stories I hear above arriving at the destination.
