We've been there. We understand. Neither giving nor receiving care is easy. Home Instead® puts relationships first to support those giving care, to protect the dignity of those receiving care, and to enhance the quality of life for both seniors and their families in every caregiving experience.
If your family recognizes the value of aging in place as we do, you’ve come to the right place. Home Instead® Care Professionals provide compassionate and reliable home care services to help keep seniors safe and independent wherever they call home.
Paul and Lori Hogan founded Home Instead, Inc. in 1994 in Omaha, Nebraska. Paul's own family experience caring for his grandmother led him to realize many families could use the help of an in-home caregiver. He and Lori set about creating a company to help seniors to live independently at home. That mission still drives the company and its franchise network today.
Home Instead, Inc. began franchising in 1995. Today, the Home Instead® network has grown to include more than 1,200 franchises around the world. While our franchise network is international, our office is local. And to us, home care is personal.

I cannot thank the Home Instead team enough for their compassionate and efficient response to our situation. I would like to thank Christina most of all. She was exactly who we needed to show up to our door during out time of need. Christina is deeply knowledgable, kind, and professional. Thank you once again!

Home Instead Senior Care has never given me a copy of the agreement I signed with them, though I requested it two or three times. The first caregiver quit me because my place was too far for her to drive. The second caregiver was with me for 2 three hour sessions. The night before the third session was due, Home Instead called and told me that lady had quit the company, and the first caregiver was willing to fill in until they could find someone else. So, on Friday the first caregiver parked outside my gate 15 minutes early, walked into my house unannounced, and overheard me talking on the phone. I was telling my granddaughter that I didn't want the first caregiver coming back. But the caregiver didn't hear the reasons. She left, and I never knew she had been in my house. When I called the company to find out why she was late, she had told them what she had overheard (out of context). So I have moved on to another company.
