Joe Matthews, owner of Home Helpers of the North Valley started this business because he understands the challenges families face and he saw an opportunity to provide a better care option. Prior to opening this business, Joe was also a caregiver for his uncle, who had a son with special needs. Joe's Uncle was diagnosed with terminal cancer, he stepped in to care for him, and became a co-conservator for his cousin. Once he realized he was serving in the Caregiver role capacity, it really shed light on the needs and challenges families face, especially when they don’t have someone who can step in full time. With Home Helpers, Joe fulfills his passion is to help families and individuals who need assistance with high-quality care and work along with his dedicated team of trained, skilled and compassionate caregivers.
