Home Choice knows the difficulty of having a caregiver come into your home. After all, in some cases, this will be the first time that this type of service is being provided. That is why we offer guaranteed compatibility to our clients. At your request, we will set up private interviews with several caregivers to insure a perfect match allowing for one caregiver for the entire shift as opposed to shuffling several people throughout the week.
Guaranteed Staffing-
Once service has been provided for two weeks and you are satisfied with the permanent caregiver. Home Choice Companion Care will introduce a secondary caregiver. This gives the person an opportunity to learn the routine and meet the family. This process guarantees that you will never be with out a caregiver or having a stranger knock on your door at an inconvenient time.

My 91 year mother lives in an assisted living facility. Last summer she broke her wrist and needed 24/7 companion care. The facility made arrangements for a companion to come stay with Mom. One gal would stay 2 days, another would stay 8 days, another would stay 5 days. I never knew who would be with Mom or how long they would be staying. There were times when Mom's apartment was dirty and smelled. After three months of less than desirable care, I stumbled across an advertisement for Home Choice Companion Care on facebook. I notified the contact person who introduced me to Michael Zerbato - owner of Home Choice Companion Care of Trappe. Michael made arrangements for Soray to visit me in my home to learn about our needs for Mom. We went to her apartment and Soray assessed the situation. A few days later she contacted me and said that she found a caregiver who she thought would be a good match for Mom. Soray brought Zena to my home where I could meet and interview her. Together the three of us went to Mom's apartment for Zena to meet her. Zena began caring for Mom on November 4, 2015. She has been a fabulous caregiver. Mom looks better now than she has in three years. Her dining companions all remark about her appearance and are eager to see how Zena has dressed her. Mom's hair is shiny and lustrous; her skin is well hydrated - because Zena cares! Mom's physical condition is deteriorating and her finances are waning, so we have made the difficult decision to move her to a skilled living facility which accepts medicaid. We are sad to say good bye to Zena - in the five months she's been Mom's companion, she has become an extension of our family. I cannot say enough about her and the quality of the care she has given Mom. Michael has been a joy to work with - he's accessible and caring. Soray did a great job matching Mom and Zena together. Zena has been an angel and a God send to our family. I only wish I had knows about Home Choice Companion Care years ago. I highly recommend this agency.
