Our society has an ever-growing need for experienced in-home caregivers to assist aging adults and individuals with impairments to live independently in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. By 2030, the population of older adults in the United States will surpass that of children and young people. Our business goal is dedicated to addressing these growing needs in the greater Tennessee Valley.
Hallmark’s approach resonated personally after I experienced both of my grandmothers’ final years living during the COVID-19 pandemic. The majority of facilities and caregiving agency's ability to provide services was greatly hampered due to the unknown. The lack of family and human connection were significant factors contributing to their accelerated declines of health and overall well-being. With our family spread out across the United States, there wasn’t an option like Hallmark to provide a personalized caregiver with both of my grandmothers as an extension of our family.
I am grateful for the cherished memories we created together - cooking and barbequing, swimming at the lake, watching Walker Texas Ranger and James Bond. However, I regret not being able to do more for them in their final days. Not being able to provide the level of comfort they both once knew was heartbreaking for our family, and many others in similar situations.
When we relocated to Chattanooga, Tennessee several years ago for career opportunities, my wife and I quickly fell in love with the area and its welcoming community. Operating a successful business that continues to support and enrich the lives of individuals in our adopted hometown, is a privilege.
At Hallmark, by connecting the client and caregiver in a direct-hire approach, the client’s dollars go further and the caregivers maximize their earning potential through quality, hard work and dedication to our mission.
