My journey into the homecare industry is deeply personal, born not from a business plan but from a moment in life that changed everything.
When my father was diagnosed with ALS, our family entered uncharted territory. The emotional weight of his illness was heavy, but so, too, were the practical challenges. We struggled to navigate the complex world of home care, finding the right caregivers, coordinating schedules, understanding our options, and simply trying to ensure that he received treatment with dignity and compassion at every step. It was overwhelming, exhausting, and at times, isolating.
What we thought would be a straightforward process quickly revealed itself to be anything but. We learned firsthand how challenging it can be to find trustworthy and consistent care for someone you love. And that experience left a lasting impression on us. It showed that families like ours, good people trying to do right by their loved ones, deserve better support, better systems, and better options.
That's what led me to Hallmark Homecare.
This isn't just a career shift or entrepreneurial venture; it's a calling. I've built my professional life around leadership and service, but stepping into this space allows me to combine those skills with a much deeper purpose. I know what it feels like to need help and not know where to turn. I've been the son making impossible decisions, trying to hold everything together. And now, I want to be part of the solution for others.
