Compassion. Listening. Safety.
These commitments frame our daily activities. Moreover, these are the qualities you can expect from us when we bring in-home caregivers to you and your loved ones. Staff members from our office work with you to understand your needs, so we can recommend the home care services best for you and your loved one. Before you are matched with a caregiver, a coordinator will speak with you over the phone and meet with you in person for an in-home discussion.

Bob Kreek, Local Director and Owner, is also a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) ®. His highest priority is providing quality caregivers to our community. At Griswold Home Care of Yonkers/Scarsdale, we understand the importance of being able to stay in your home, and we offer caregivers whose services will keep you comfortable, safe, and content in your home. Our services include Companion Care, Personal Care, Homemaking Care, Live-in Care, Respite Care, and so much more.
Caregivers not only enrich the lives of those in their care, they also provide peace of mind for those closest to the person receiving care (We use our CarePairing System to ensure compatibility). Many life experiences have led Bob toward an appreciation of the importance of first-class, quality care. During his mother’s dementia, Bob came to appreciate just how important caregiving is because of the positive impact it had on both on his mother and their family. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for CLUSTER, a Yonkers-based nonprofit organization that provides counseling and homes to Yonkers residents in need.
Listening and compassion go a long way toward easing burdens. While an Officer in the United States Navy and as the Executive Director of the USO of Metropolitan New York, Bob dealt with issues of fear and vulnerability every day. These feelings are overwhelming but can be eased with patience and listening.
Caregivers seeking to be affiliated with us must first meet the most rigorous standards as set forth in our CareAssure Screening System, and only about 5% meet those standards. Our team will spend hours of face-to-face time exploring each caregiver’s ability to meet our requirements for home care and elder care.
Bob is available to visit you or your loved ones anywhere in Lower Westchester within hours of your call.
