Our Rates & Service Areas in Passaic, Sussex, & Warren County, New Jersey
We offer very competitive non-medical in-home care rates and a variety of services that are tailored to accommodate individual needs. The Passaic-Sussex-Warren County Griswold Home Care office focuses mainly on preventing readmission to hospitals after discharges. Our goal is to provide quality care to clients in the comforts of their own homes.
The most important aspect of our caregiving approach is maintaining our clients’ dignity through every aspect of our home care services.
If a client elects our live-in caregiver service, our goal is to ensure that clients maintain the lifestyles they led before home care was required. For example, we encourage and aid with social activities such as visiting with friends, grandkids’ birthday parties, and holiday celebrations. We also help with the daily activities like running errands, going to the hair salon, and other outings.
Local Community in Passaic, Sussex, & Warren County, New Jersey
Being involved in the local community of Northern New Jersey is very important to us at the Passaic-Sussex-Warren County office. Our caregivers are constantly informed and up to date about local events so that they can help home care clients participate in various community activities. Our caregivers can drive clients to events and accompany them throughout the day.
For our clients who are interested, we encourage them to plant a home vegetable garden and assist in all the necessary parts to get a successful garden started. Our Director, Elaine Gordon, was raised in South Africa and prides herself on being able to “create a garden on dirt the size of a door.” We’ve helped our clients plant vibrant home gardens that produce lettuce, radishes, zucchini, beans and other nutritious foods that aid in maintaining their health at home. We believe that the process of creating a garden and watching it grow is a wonderful experience that everyone, especially seniors, can appreciate. Having a home garden allows our clients to be connected to their food and be a direct participant in their meal planning and health.
Our garden plan is a unique approach to home care and senior care. Remember — New Jersey is called the “Garden State” for a reason!
