Anne Arundel, Kent & Queen Anne Counties’ office of Griswold Home Care which includes the Annapolis, Severna Park and Ft. Meade areas refers caregivers who provide non-medical care to older adults, as well as adults with disabilities. The caregivers we refer have worked with Clients that may have neuro-muscular conditions, or Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Many of our Clients recently had a “medical episode” or a fall and have been institutionalized for a while and need some extra help when they return home. Whether help is needed for the short or long term, we can refer caregivers to provide assistance as quickly and efficiently as possible. These caregivers can provide personal care, homemaking and companionship. Personal care includes tasks like bathing, dressing, grooming, mouth care, toileting and we can assist with self-administered meds.

Homemaking includes cooking, menu planning, light housekeeping and errands. Last but certainly not least we can refer caregivers who provide loving Companionship, which may include transportation/accompaniment to our beautiful waterfront areas or the Naval Academy, trips out for lunch or a simple game of cards.

Our goal is to refer caregivers to assist the Client to be as independent as they can be. There are many service options. Please give us a call so that we can listen to you about your service needs/desires and tell you more about the unique Griswold model of home care.
