Michael Gibson is the Owner and Director of the local Griswold Home Care Mesquite-Dallas office in Texas. During a successful 25 year career in senior management roles for a major big box retailer and a leader in the restaurant industry, Michael would often imagine opening his own business. He made the conscious decision to leave the corporate world and fully research where he could go from there.

During the last few years Michael and his wife Lori had been dealing with the declining health of a loved one. Faced with unfamiliar options in the area of home care versus assisted facility living, they experienced first-hand the difference in a person’s attitude and demeanor when able to remain in the comfortable and familiar surroundings of his/her own home.

After finding Griswold Home Care and already knowing the impact this type of care can make to those in need Michael knew this was where he belonged. The mission and culture of the 30 year company is a perfect fit. Michael’s many years of customer relations makes him excited to refer caregivers to provide the superior level of care and support the Griswold name is known for.

Michael and Lori have been married for 26 years have a son and currently reside in the Mesquite community. Michael and Lori are both natives of Mesquite, Texas. Lori has served on a non-profit board in the community for over 3 years and our family is involved in several volunteer organizations including the Portable Pantry Program they have established in the Mesquite area.
