Griswold Home Care Denver - South & West refers caregivers to assist adults who need support in order to stay where they want to be - at home! Caregivers can assist with the full range of non-medical tasks - from shopping, cooking and preparing meals to personal care assistance and safety supervision. We screen the caregivers very carefully because our golden rule is we don't refer a caregiver to you that we would not place in our homes. We are licensed by the State of Colorado. Our caregivers are our employees and are insured and bonded.
Our model is consumer directed which means you, the client, get to decide who you work with, when they come and what they do. We can provide a caregiver wherever you call home – a house, the hospital, assisted or independent living, or a rehabilitation center. A little extra help in these settings gets you the care and attention you need. We know that life can be hectic and stressful, so we are very easy to work with. The staff at Griswold did their best to provide reliable in-home care for my aged Dad. All of the home attendants were courteous and sympathetic. It seems Griswold has high standards for their employees. The administrative staff at Griswold was conscientious; they addressed my family's needs with patience and a thoroughness that's unusual these days. I am very pleased with Griswold Home Care, the owner Jennifer, and my caregiver Martha. For an out-patient surgery, I needed a trustworthy ride. From the initial contact, to the post-op follow-up, the entire process couldn't have been easier or more professional. I have experience with other similar agencies - some good, some NOT. While I was still in post-op, there was a minor medical complication. Martha asked the nurses all of the right questions, and made sure that it truly was appropriate for me to be released. I will definitely use them again if needed.

In Jan. of 2017 I came down with pneumonia and was hospitalized for several weeks and then spent a couple of weeks in a rehab center. when I was released to come home I needed 24 hour care. After my sons researched a number of care facilities they decided that Griswold would be the best fit for me. This was the best decision ever made. I needed care for 24 hours at first and then for the next for the rest of my 6 months care the care givers came during the day. These care givers were the most knowledgeable and caring people I had ever know. I credit my complete recovery to this wonderful agency and the way they handled their care. I rate this company 5 out of 5 and can't recommend them highly enough.

I considered three home care companies for my father. Jennifer from Griswold offered to come talk to our family, which the others did not. She discussed different home care options with us. We decided on overnight care. Unfortunately, the first caregiver did not work for us. When I let Jennifer know she made a change. In all we had three different caregivers. All of them were very helpful and professional. Dad liked all of them. He especially liked Mertie. He said she knew what he needed before he asked and was quick to tend to his needs. He said it was like she could read his mind. We are happy he is well enough to not need the extra care now though we would use Griswold again, if needed.
