For over 30 years, Griswold Home Care has been referring the best Caregivers. We only refer Professional Caregivers that pass our stringent “CareAssure Screening System”. For your peace of mind, all of our Caregivers have undergone extensive interviewing, background-screening, reference checks and credential verification before they are referred to you. We pride ourselves on identifying Caregivers that are ultra-compassionate, highly qualified, energetic, clear communicators, and decisive. WE WILL NOT REFER A CAREGIVER THAT WE WOULDN’T REFER TO ONE OF OUR FAMILY MEMBERS!

The Caregivers we refer can provide assistance on a flexible schedule based on your needs. We offer flexible hourly shifts, 12 hour overnights with sleep and 24 hour live-in care. Griswold Home Care always considers the needs of your loved one when referring a Caregiver, including personality and other attribute matching. With Griswold Home Care’s consumer-directed model we’ll refer qualified Caregivers, but you will make the decisions!

Griswold Home Care clients are always assigned a dedicated Care Coordinator that will always be up-to-date on client special needs and changes in condition. Our Care Coordinators communicate regularly and often with all clients, Caregivers, and specified family members.

I am a current client

The people at Griswold Home Care of Metro Portland came to our rescue when we had an immediate need to find 24 hour care for our loved one after suffering a stroke. While still hospitalized, a representative came to the room for an interview, provided very helpful information, had an organized process, and gave our family peace of mind. The agency did a great job in matching the caregivers with our family member and we continue to enjoy long term relationships with them to this day. The quality of life for our loved one is wonderful, with the attentive and excellent care that our caregivers are able to provide at home. The people who run Griswold are compassionate and very supportive. Their agency has decades of experience have been helpful in dealing with insurance claims. Their billing process is efficient and they offer many ways to communicate.
