Golden Heart Senior Care is a family-owned and operated in-home senior care provider. We offer hourly, live-in, and in-home services for seniors. With over 30 years of combined experience in the healthcare industry, we provide the best possible care for your loved one.
We provide non-medical activities of daily living to those who cannot safely and healthfully live at home independently. This includes meal preparation and assistance with toileting, bathing, and dressing. We also assist with light housekeeping, medication reminders, and transportation. Golden Heart Senior Care designs a comprehensive care plan for all of its clients. We start with an in-home assessment that identifies the client’s needs and wants. The senior careworker then creates a detailed plan to achieve the client’s goals.

Great Company to work with! The caregivers and management are wonderful! The Owner was highly recommended by a former client who's mother passed away. Our family found Golden Heart through AgingCare. We have tried several caregiving companies throughout the last 5 years but Golden Heart and is very different. Libby the owner who is a nurse is always available for our questions and helps with communication with physicians and other family members. She has a no phone policy, while caregivers are on their shift and she along with her care manager Abbie created a wonderful care plan that we sometimes update due to our parents needs. They both visit our parents a few times a month or more when needed. Their caregivers are all trained and Golden Heart has many activities cognitive and physical for the caregiver to do every day. We had several companies send us caregivers who sat on the couch and watched tv all day and were on their cell phone. Some didn't even show up or couldn't speak English very well. We have never had a situation where our parents were without care, even if our current caregiver is sick or on vacation. We can relax and know our parents are receiving the care needed to live a peaceful and comfortable life with Golden Heart Austin West. We highly recommend this company!

My husband and I have been using Golden Heart here in Austin. We receive exceptional care! We have tried other agencies who send someone who can’t speak English, look at their phone all day and sit and watch TV. Libby, the owner, hires experienced, well trained CNA’S and caregivers who love what they do! We go for walks, play card games, and read great books! Libby is a nurse and visits once a week to check on us! I highly recommend golden heart.

Unreliable. Owner will agree to whatever you say and proceed to send care whenever she likes. Communication non-existent. Staffing inconsistent. Billing inaccurate: Double billed, and billed for days care not given. Due to frustration with this company, contract was terminated in 9 weeks. If you value your loved one, find someone who cares about them and the commitments they make.

This Client received exceptional care in the same facility where we have been providing services for other clients also. She stated that she is having financial difficulties to pay her bill; therefore we extended her a two week courtesy to catch up with her bill. However she failed to fulfill her financial obligation. Soon after her account was placed in collections she has written the above response.
